Rebekah Ashby, PR Account Director

Rebekah worked on the business desk of Newcastle’s leading morning newspaper The Journal for eight years before leaving journalism for a role as senior marketing manager at Northern Rock. 

During her time as The Journal’s deputy business editor, Rebekah was named UK Business & Finance Journalist of the Year and was also a finalist in the media category of the Women of the Future Awards in the same year.

A well known figure in the regional media, Rebekah also held the post of Commercial Property editor of the Journal and was the youngest ever editor of the Journal Business Magazine.

Rebekah is Account Director on our Business to Business team, as well as being responsible for continuing our high quality standards by mentoring our graduates on writing for the media.

She is an avid horse rider, with a palomino horse called Kate and a cocker spaniel called Lollie.
