Kari Owers, Chief Executive

Chief Executive Kari Owers has been a PR consultant in the North of England for fifteen years, working on PR campaigns for more than 400 organisations ranging from launching an FM radio station and maintaining its press profile for several years, to the promotion of schools, landscape architectural firms, surveyors, building groups, lawyers, retail chains, accountancy practices, fashion designers, building societies, advertising & design agencies, educational establishments, public sector initiatives and many more.

During her career to date Kari has helped shape the profile a wide range  of well-known regional business figures' profiles including specialising in the profile of young entrepreneurs.

Kari is a nationally accredited Business Link consultant. She is also a member
of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (MCIPR), a board advisor to the a:design association and was shortlisted as 'Best Newcomer' in the Women into the Network Awards in 2006.

She is listed in the PR Week PowerBook 2010 and The Drum magazine's Power 100 List.

Creative director on the consumer and campaigns PR team, and lead strategist, Kari is steering the future growth of O Communications.
